Happy Birthday! Here's to more dinner parties!

Of all the people we would have expected to have a big 70th birthday bash, you are high on the list. A long night of amazing food and endless wine and cocktails with all your friends. . . Instead you are a temporary nomad off on some great adventures! (Cindy is hoping you inspire Lane to do more travel as he turns 70.) So celebrating with you by thinking back on some great dinners and drinks with you over the years.
Are you thinking we should empty a few more bottles?
What? Too small for you?

(That is still the most drunken dinner party we've ever hosted. Those Aquavit samples were pretty terrible, but they sure packed a punch. . . . or maybe it was the beer, wine, and port that preceded them.)

Miss those dinners, but maybe we can catch you for dinner in Arizona this week.

    That was an epic evening, and I recall liking the 20 samples of Aquavit. Maybe we can still put together a good bash when we're back. So happy to have you guys in my life for all these years. See you soon. Thanks for this.
