    Happy Birthday Joe!
    Remembering the days at the U of M, talking about how in ten years, which seemed so far away, we would meet on the steps of Coffman Union with our families.
    Riding on the crowded University bus with you and John " clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right..."
    Riding horseback in the wilds of the metro exurbs. The Queed book, so hard to get in the days before technology. Which I still enjoy.
    Sweet days, fun times. So glad our paths have crossed again. And that 50 years later you are in such a good place with such a good person.

One of the 3 Giuseppes… the Good/Bad/Ugly; you decide

H ere is at least one of the 1000 Giuseppe Stories... There are countless stories with Giuseppe!   Drink nights at I Nonni, my house his house…. Karen’s house on the famous San Giuseppe’s celebrations and of course… The Butcher Block.    I don’t have a lot of pictures, maybe that’s intentional!  I do have great memories. One in particular comes to mind.  This was a Ferragosto celebration (notice how the word Celebration keeps popping up right around the word Giuseppe).   We decided to have a Bocce Ball tournament.  I’m unsure now if this was the one at the Hastings Vineyard or at the 3M Club.    Everything was going as expected.  In other words… we were doing poorly and as we tried to figure out what part of our technique should we modify… the strength, the curve, the height… finally he came up with a hypothesis….  Maybe if we put our wine glasses down and be less concerned about not spil...
